2022-2025
The Blackwing sedans are Cadillac's farewell to internal combustion, and they went out with a bang. The CT5-V Blackwing produces 668 hp from the supercharged LT4 V8 and weighs 4,096 lbs — making it a full-sized luxury sedan that can lap most tracks faster than a base Corvette. The CT4-V Blackwing uses a twin-turbo 3.6L V6 making 472 hp in a lighter 3,800 lb package. Both Blackwings use Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and electronic LSDs. Both are available with a 6-speed manual — the last manual V8 sedans from GM. The brakes are massive (Brembo 6-piston fronts on the CT5-V BW) and the chassis tuning by Cadillac's performance team is exceptional. These are track-capable luxury sedans that actually deliver on the promise.
