The GR86 Cup is Toyota's factory-supported spec racing series using the second-generation GR86. The series uses lightly modified GR86s with standardized safety equipment, suspension, and tire specifications. The goal is close, competitive racing where driver skill determines the outcome. The FA24 engine's 228 hp in a 2,600 lb race-prepped car provides a power-to-weight ratio that is engaging without being overwhelming.
